The founders entered the Audit and Certification arena as a small independent audit and certification firm in 2009. In 2023, the founders collaborated on a joint venture, rebranding their business under OPG Certification Services. They share a collective vision and goal to deploy a customer centric business model that breaks the stigma of a typical auditor, auditee relationship. OPG is committed to meeting and exceeding client needs by customizing their approach for each client’s certification journey.

Michael delivers expertise as a recognized authority on continuous improvement, maturity, and compliance. Michael has provided appraisal and audit services to commercial companies and government contractors for more than 20 years. Michael has more than 35 years of experience in the IT industry as a software engineer, data architect, IT service manager, IT systems acquisitions manager, project manager, CIO, consultant, auditor, appraiser, and instructor
Corey Friebis
Co-Founder & COO
Corey has established credentials in risk management, process optimization, quality management, IT service management, project management, and information security management. Corey has over 15 years of experience in business and operational analytics for organizations ranging from small/mid size to fortune 100. He is a dynamic and analytical leader, offering extensive expertise in all facets of process governance, continuous improvement, and ISO Compliance. He places a strong emphasis on operational excellence and maturity, spearheading process management initiatives to drive performance and reduce issues and costs.
